Louisiana’s bayous are home to some of the most unique ecosystems and societies on the planet. For centuries, native tribes, immigrants and ancient creatures have coexisted in these vast wetlands. The bayous play a major role in Louisiana’s economy, as a source of natural resources and a destination for tourists. If you plan to visit Louisiana’s bayou country, you should start your planning by learning a few facts about the region.
Louisiana’s bayous encompass nearly 3 million acres, and their warm ecosystems create a home for wiregrass, cyprus trees, bottomland hardwoods, mosses, water celery and a host of other varieties of vegetation. Louisiana’s bayous are home to American alligators, blue herons, shrimp, white-tailed deer and fish.
Fine Art Americas (FAA) watermark does NOT appear on sold art as FAA removes the watermark before each sold copy is "museum quality" printed onto canvass, photo-paper, metal, acrylic or any of FAA's many other available medias regardless of which one is chosen by the buyer.
